Nick Trastelis D.C.

Primary Chiropractor

Nick Trastelis, DC, owner and chiropractor at the Injury Centers of Brevard, has been practicing for nearly 10 years with accident and injury patients. Dr. Nick graduated from Life University in 2006 with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He is a husband and father of four who takes pride in his work and who’s goal is to see his patients get relief from the many treatments offered at his clinics.

“After enduring a horrible car accident when I was 19, I knew my calling was to help people with the injuries resulting from these horrible events. I want to make sure that my patients, at fault or not, receive the best treatment possible by correlating all of my treatments with other health care professionals- orthopedics, neurologists, medical doctors, etc.”

Vernice Ragsdale, M.D.

Medical Doctor

Vernice Ragsdale, who goes by Denny, has been actively practicing medicine throughout Brevard County for over 30 years. Graduated from University with high honors in chemistry, mathematics, physics and biology. Denny, a husband of 50-plus years and a father of five, has broad experience with trauma medicine. He was in charge of the emergency medicine for the Air Force in support of STS one and two, and proudly served as an emergency physician in three of our local emergency rooms. He currently is the director of two addiction clinics, one in Palm Bay the other in Cocoa, alongside working at all three locations of The Injury Centers of Brevard. Denny is the son of a minister who is active in his church and has been playing gospel piano since the age of 6.

Paula Lakeman, D.C.


Dr. Paula Lakeman, D.C. has been practicing in Florida since 2007. She has extensive experience in auto accident injuries, whiplash, and disc injuries. Dr. Paula graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida and holds a Bachelors Degree from Long Island University. She is a mother of three who enjoys martial arts, yoga and quality time with her family.

I emphasize patient education along with co-management with other health professionals-including medical doctors, manual therapists, etc.”

Adam Spanovich, D.C.


Dr. Adam Spanovich, D.C was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. His undergraduate degree was completed at Ohio University where he graduated cum laudein 2012. Dr. Adam went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. He is a husband and father of two beautiful daughters who implements compassion and knowledge to all of his patients.

Samuel Lucha, D.C.


Dr. Samuel Lucha graduated from Life Chirpractic College West (2001) with the distinction Magna Cum Laude. After practicing chiropractic in California for seven years, he dicided to go back to his native country El Salvador, where he practiced chiropractic for ten years. On June 2017, Dr. Lucha returns to the United States relocating to Florida to continue doing what he loves, being a chiropractor and delivering quality chiropractic care to his patients.

Jonathan Braatz, D.C.


Dr. Jonathan Braatz, D.C. has been practicing chiropractic for over a year. Dr. John graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016 with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. John completed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology – Movement Science.
